Today its back to winter. This is a walk on a winters day in Idaho. The colors of the snow and the brilliant reds and oranges of the winter were spectacular. This road was near Boise at Mickey and Angelas House.

Another Larger 18x18 Image. I have always liked tractors since my days at the golf course. Would love some comments on these...

A quick reminder to see other art check the older posts section. The Tulips have always been difficult to capture. The next images are explorations of that. I like the direction of certain aspects and will continue to try to capture the scenic aspects of Spring in the Skagit Valley

Overall Photo quality is not the greatest for which I apologize. Thats why I paint I guess. This image is very rich color wise but it washed out a bit in the shop its in. I will try to post a better photo.

This is an image from the Skagit Valley. The color is an interesting problem. The large vivid areas are very graphic yet composed of individual flowers. Details seem to clutter so going graphic seems to work. A continuing experiment.

This is a recent image. I like the direction of what is going on here.

This is the sister image to the other Quilceda. It is available for purchase via email.

This is a part of a set of images painted in rural Washington. This piece was sold recently however I still have its sister image which is available.

A very recent piece. Its a continuing struggle to master the seascape. Their are times when I feel like I am getting better however looking at the masters makes you roll up your sleeves and try again. Water is very elusive.

Some smaller pictures from the archive. 5x5 for a miniature show in Portland. Remember all of the work is available by contacting me at 425 377 8700.

This is a scene near Jenner Ca. The fog was just breaking on the hillside in the russian river valley. Interesting how warm the land is in California even in low light.
